Thank you for your interest in joining the Robson Ranch Woodworkers Club. The mission of the Club is the promotion of activities and education of woodworking knowledge and skills for its members.
If you have visited the shop, you have seen that it contains everything you would need to create most projects from a simple cutting board to a nice piece of furniture. Our members vary in skill from absolute beginners to highly experienced crafts men and women. We look forward to including you among this talented and friendly group.
There are two steps to becoming a member of the Robson Ranch Woodworkers Club, both of which can be completed in a two to three hour scheduled period in the shop. The first step is to attend and complete a safety class. This is a requirement for everyone, regardless of skill or experience level. There is a fee of $10 for the safety class that is due at the beginning of the class.
Step two is completing and signing a waiver form and paying your annual Usage Fee at the beginning of the class. The annual usage fee is $50 and has been the same amount since the club was founded in 2007. The fee covers the expenses of operating the shop including consumable supplies such as glue, sandpaper, fasteners, etc., which are available to all members of the wood shop. If you are paying by check, both fees may be combined in one check. (This fee is prorated based on the time of year you are joining the club.)
